HP X24c Gaming Monitor

Hello,

Recently my 3 year old gaming display died. Since it is covered by an additional warranty from the credit card company, I reached out to HP Assistance through WhatsApp to get help with repair or assessment of total damage.

This lead into few days of nightmare and useless troubleshooting sessions with HP employee.  Final feedback  from the HP assistance is that HP does not provide support for this display outside of the warranty period, advising me to reach out to the retailer. Retailer, of course, is reverting me to manufacturer. 

Eventually I ended up with broken HP display no one can repair (or even assess the damage), with 3rd party warranty I cannot claim because I don't have a proof it is damaged beyond repair.

Needless to say that support line should initially see that device is outside of the warranty (process actually starts with serial number entry) saving me plenty of time wasted in useless troubleshooting. Worst ever experience with Customer Service of any company, never again HP!

 

Is there any way to get broken HP display inspected by an official HP service after the warranty period?
