Product: Envy 700
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I just bought a new monitor that displays 3840 x 2160. As I was trying to install it I found that my Envy does not have a DP port so I am not getting the full graphics. I am only offered 2048 x 1280. How can I add a DP port?

It's a hardware port. Your options are switching to another newer video card which has a DP or use a docking station of it is offered. There are DVI to DP converter but usually they are not that great and wouldn't offer higher resolutions. Good luck.
