Hi @Hardeep6,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP desktop is not turning on and there's nothing displayed on the screen, follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue.
Check Power Supply:
- Ensure that the power cable is securely connected to both the desktop and a working electrical outlet. You might want to try a different outlet or power strip to rule out a faulty power source.
- Check if there are any lights (such as power indicator lights) on the desktop when you try to turn it on.
Inspect Power Button:
- Press the power button firmly and see if there's any response, like lights or fan noise.
Perform a Reset:
- Unplug the power cord and any other connected external devices.
- Press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds to discharge any residual power.
- Reconnect the power cord and try turning it on again.
Check for Faulty Hardware:
- If you added any new hardware recently, remove it and try booting the computer to see if that resolves the issue.
- Listen for any unusual beeping sounds when you try to turn on the computer, as these can indicate specific hardware issues.
Check for Display Issues:
- Ensure the monitor is on and properly connected to the desktop. Try using a different monitor or cable if available.
Check Internal Components:
- If you are comfortable opening the desktop case, check that all internal cables are securely connected and that RAM sticks are properly seated.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
