Pavilion Slimline s-1014
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Pavilion Slimline s-1014 that has been a trusty computer for a number of years.  Recently I left it on for a couple of days without turning it off.  Since then, when I press the power button to turn the computer on, the power button lights up, but there is an orange light on the front panel that looks like three disks that keeps flashing/staying on, and the monitor never displays anything.

I have checked the monitor, and there is no problem with it.

I have tried unplugging everything, I mean everything, holding down the power button, plugging things back in---nothing.

Please help.  Can't lose this computer now!!!

Thank you for replying to my post.  Unfortunately I can't use any diagnostic step that involves anything dependent on a monitor, because the monitor doesn't come on.  I have also tried the hard reset, but that hasn't worked.  Is it possible that this can't be fixed--I would hate that, but I also don't want to spend a lot of time on a lost cause.
