Product: HP27xq
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi
My HP27XQ allows me to use HDMI and run it at 1440p 144hz just fine; the issue occurs when I try and use a 1.4 display port at 1440p 144hz. The screen blacks out and says the signal is inactive. It won’t come back on unless I select 120hz. Why is this? Is my monitor failing? Why won’t display port run at 144hz but my HDMI connection will. This is extremely frustrating as my graphics card only has 1 HDMI and 3 DP (RX6900XT). As the HP27XQ is my main monitor and my secondary monitor isn’t supported by DP (doesn’t have a port). I’m forced to either use the HP with HDMI connection or use DP and not be allowed to use 144hz. Any help would be appreciated.
