We've got an old HP Compaq Pro 6300 Small Form Factor desktop here and it's got a VGA, Displayport, and DVI input for monitors. Our DVI monitor died (and it was connected via a graphics card), but when we ordered our two new monitors and connected them via the VGA port and Displayport, neither monitor is being recognized by the computer. I've enabled the video on the motherboard via the BIOS, but there's no signal going from the computer to either monitor, either hooked up individually or together. I took another DVI monitor from a different computer, and that monitor worked fine.
Appreciate any suggestions.

Although not mentioned in the documentation (that I could find), generally adding an external graphics board immediately disables the internal video on HP systems.

I suspect you need to remove the graphics board or get a graphics board that had two outputs.
