Hi @ATH2025,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
First Check Compatibility, Ensure your laptop supports USB-C Display Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3/4. Verify the docking station compatibility.
Update Drivers & Firmware: Update chipset drivers, graphics drivers, BIOS firmware, and docking station firmware via HP Support.
Test HDMI Connection: Use a different HDMI cable, ensure the monitor is set to the correct HDMI input, and check any adapters.
Check USB-C Power & Connection: Ensure the docking station is powered, reconnect the USB-C cable, and try a different port.
Restart & Reset Hardware: Disconnect the dock, turn off the laptop, hold the power button for 10-15 seconds, restart, and reconnect the dock.
Test Display Settings: Go to Display settings on your computer, detect displays, and ensure "Extend these displays" is selected.
Reset Docking Station: Use the dock’s reset button if available, then reconnect.
Try Direct HDMI Connection: Connect the monitor directly to the laptop’s HDMI port to check for issues with the dock.
