Depending on what EXACTLY they are. Even connecting to a different monitor you need to know what they have.
Regards.

I have 1 HP all-in-one (model 24-xo11) which is about 2 years old and I am considering purchasing the HP all in one CA-1015ST. Both have 24inch displays, HDMI ports etc. I just need to know if I connect the two using an HDMI cord, will I be able to use one as a primary monitor and the second as the extended monitor? Hope that makes sense.

hi
https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/39t34av-1-39t34av-1#techSpecs
1 HDMI-out 1.4; 1 HDMI-in 1.4b
- HDMI out
- HDMI in
it should indeed be possible
to connect to each other
but for the display options, there I have a doubt!
wait for the return of @banhien

The rule is you can connect HDMI out (m1) from one machine to HDMI in on other machine (m2) and switch the m2 machine to use HDMI in
