EliteDisplay 243i
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just got the EliteDisaply 243i and connected via  the provided USB cable to my Surface Pro. Unfortunately, it didn't detect the monitor automatically or when I had the computer search for an external display. Tried on a Dell XPS13, same problem. Connected via HDMI to my wife's computer with no problem. I'll get a USB-HDMI adapter which will hopefully solve the problem, but I'd still like it to work without an adapter. Any ideas?

Hello

USB cable provided is to connect the two USB 3.0 ports available on the E243i.

it means that E243i integrates a dual USB ports hub.

USB cable is not used to connect the display !!!! you must use a video cable : VGA, HDMO ir DP port.

bye

Well now I feel like an idiot! 🙂

Thanks for clearing that up for me. (Not that I'm an idiot. I already knew that. Thanks for clearing up my question.)
