HP w2007
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I am trying to use this monitor (HP w2007) as an extension of my laptop (HP Pavilion running Windows 10). When I first connected, I got an error message on the monitor saying "Input Signal Out of Range" and suggesting a change to the settings. I made the change, re-started the laptop, confirmed the changes were still saved, and the error message is still on the screen blocking what should be there.  Question one: How do I get rid of this message since the setting has been changed?

Also, the monitor is putting itself into sleep mode after about 30 seconds, even if I am working with the applications my laptop has extended to the monitor. Question 2: How do I change the sleep mode settings on this monitor so that it will stay "awake" while I'm working on it?

Thanks in advance for all your help!
