Hello, I have a

HP Omen 17-ck0501na

it has multiple issues but I can’t address any as the screen is broken. At the moment I’m trying to opperate from an external screen however it’s not reaching windows or showing up the display.
I’ve tried various commands and also closing screen to force external hdmi to no avail. Any ideas? I don’t want to purchase a screen & install to find huge issues going on with the mother board. Also if anyone has a broken one that I could buy for harvesting let me know. Thanks so much in advance.

@Jameshinesphoto, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Force External Display (Using Keyboard Shortcuts)

Connect your laptop to the external monitor via HDMI.

Power on the laptop and wait 60 seconds.

Press Windows key + P, then press the down arrow key twice to select "Second screen only", then hit Enter.

Try BIOS Settings

On startup, press Esc repeatedly to enter the startup menu.

Press F10 to enter BIOS and check display settings.

I hope this helps.
