i have a hp old hp touch smart tm 2 and it has info 7 if i install windows 10 will the software of that touch remain or not

There are reports of it working on both windows 10 and even 11

 

The user here had a problem at first but manage to do the upgrade

The problem I see is the lack of HP drivers from an HP website.  

You might find windows 10 drivers at the below sites but no telling what unwanted software might be downloaded with the needed driver

It is possible that you may not be able to restore back to windows 7 if something goes wrong.  If you really want to try the upgrade then replace the hard drive or do  an image backup to be able to restore.

 

If you do a clean install you will get build 22h2 or a later one, and it will be more demanding than the windows 10 upgrades done on the tm2 systems several years ago.
