intel desktop
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

How do I get rid of the bars on top and bottom while I am watching a streaming video.

DVD'S work great but not streaming video's. I would like the entire screen as if I am watching a DVD.

Thank you,

Mike R.

I tried holding down FN and pressing f11 nothing happened.

I assume you are watching the videos in a browser window? Fn + F11 usually works in Internet Explorer and Chrome browser.

@sunsetMR

Are you on a laptop? You should have a key with Fn on it beside ctrl key-bottom row of keys.

If you are using a desktop pc with regular keyboard simply tap F11 key.

 Sorry. Your post was originally in Laptop section of forum so I assumed you were using a laptop.

1- On the desktop machine you may/may not need to use Fn key with F11 key. Have you tried both ways?

2- Which browser are you using,Internet Explorer,Chrome,Firefox?

3- If you are using AOL Desktop Software to access internet and stream videos I am not sure if there is a way to make it full screen. AOL support would be the best source for that.
