ENVY All in ONE 27
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to record video to my computer Through and HDMI connection from my TV. I am able to see and hear fine the video in my hp pc. but when I try to record it with a  program called FlashBack Express it record fine my original desktop graphic but not what the HDMI is showing, it's like the HDMI video is on top of everything in my screen!

Do you know if there is an HDMI controller that can be adjusted within my HP PC?

Or Is there program I can download that will record the HDMI video in my computer?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

How can you do that ? HDMI port on TV is an IN port. Is HDMI port on your computer also an IN port ? I used to use PVR box to record TV programs but stopped after Olympic 2012 due to copyright reason.

Please check instructions from FlashBack Express.

Hi Banhien, Thank You for your answer. My ENVY 27" has an IN HDMI and a separate Out Hdmi. I connect it to my cable DVR and I can see perfect what ever I one recorded or live TV, but I can't record the screen, when I press record before I bring the HDMI to screen it records my desktop.

As mentioned above, you have to talk with the software vendor.  From the following manual, it should be very easy
