that update won't fix the sound. I asked on the HPEXPERT forums today, will let you know what I hear back

you need to install hp my display applicaton for your comptuer. look in the drivers for your pc but the older version of windows

I've tried a variety of drivers old/new and it makes no difference - I get the video working but no audio from hdmi.

I don't see anyone on this chain who has provided a clear way to get audio working.

Maybe if we put in key words like HP support sucks then maybe someone will pay attention rather than keep giving robot replies about not supporting our 2 year old hardware.

Its not even that the hdmi button still doesnt work for me it wont even load up the screen this update is garbage
