Your monitor has following ports

 

  • 1 DVI-D connector
  • 1 VGA connector

and your computer has (at its back)

 

(4) USB 2.0 Type-A
(1) RJ-45/Ethernet port
(1) HDMI v1.4b/HDCP 2.2 port
(1) VGA port
(3) Audio ports

 

Yes, the monitor is a bit old but it is compatible with your machine. You have 2 options

 

(a) Using VGA connector using VGA cable (red ports)

(b) Using HDMI (from computer) ro DVI (monitor) cable to have better view (blue ports)
