HP 2009m
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Just got HP2009m monitor used.  Hooked up to Windows 7 computer and powered on monitor.  Screen goes blank 60 seconds after power on, before even get to windows.  When I run bootup diagnostics on the machine, display still goes blank after 60 seconds.  This tells me it is not a windows problem.  The OSD display doesn't stay up long enough to do much.

Would also like feedback if this is the appropriate forum; didn't see one for displays only.

@BarryQ,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • Is this the only monitor connected to the computer?
  • Have you tried connecting the computer to a different monitor or a TV?

Meanwhile, I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and check if it helps.
