My HP 2011x 20" monitor never gave a bit of trouble unless it was unhooked from the old hp pavilion desktop. Tried to set it all up again recently and it was showing everything perfectly, but I lost time to work on updates and installs to get the entire system up to speed, and about a month later, it now is back to showing that it finds no signal and goes to sleep. I have asked HP virtual agents, live agents, and geeksquad agents online to help me, and basically, there seems to be no help for this. I know there is, because i've done it before, but now I can no longer get it to recognise any signal, vga or dvi (there is no native hdmi connection option for this particular model.) So, I saw there were people with this same issue posting to this same website for HP assistance nearly 3 years ago. That thread was closed with no help, so I'm re opening the discussion. Its a great monitor, even though its nothing new. Shame to trash it just because it can't find the signal. Can anyone help? Thanks 🙂
