Hello! My HP 22es monitor is unable to detect any signal from HDMI or VGA. The status shows inactive when you connect the cable to the monitor.
1. Not the PC problem. I tried to connect the monitor to 3 different PC and 1 Mac. It cannot work with any of them.
2. Not the cable problem. I tried 3 different HDMI cables and 2 different VGA cables. The problem is still there.
3. Not the LCD panel problem. It can display when you go to the menu on the monitor.
4. I tried to factory reset the monitor, by either selecting the option from the menu or hold the power button for 1 minute when unplugging the power cord.
I really need help from HP technicians. Please do not copy and paste the same answer to my post. I saw the same answer to different cases in this community even though some has been stated in the post. Thank you very much.

@SloVel Welcome to HP Forums Community!
I suggest you change the resolution of your computer to the one supported by the monitor and check if that works, perhaps, try lower resolutions to see if that works,
meanwhile, if you haven't checked this already, this is what you need to know about the error: Click here for details.
Let me know how that pans out,

@SloVel If you've done all that and yet the issue persists, most likely its an issue with the video connectors as it isn't detecting the cables connected to it, though the menu on the monitor itself works and other monitors work fine on the same computer, I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options:
follow the below steps to get started:
1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Click on "Continue as guest".
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Click on "Show Options".
Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!
Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,
here's how private messages work: Click here for details.
