Problem manifested after re-boot

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. I came across your post and would like to assist.

 

I understand that you have an HP 2509m 25-inch Diagonal Full HD LCD Monitor and the display settings do not allow setting the monitor to the recommended resolution of 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz. Not worry, I'll do my best to help you. 

 

I did some digging on this case and suggest you to perform a factory reset on the monitor. The steps are mentioned under "Using the On-screen Display (OSD)" from the user guide.

 

 

You might try to update the graphics card drivers too. Hope this helps the monitor display the recommended resolution.
