HP Recommended

I have HP Display 25f. When I connect my computer to it, it shows the display for a less than a second and then it goes away. I have tried extending the monitor and mirroring it. I am not sure how to get around it. I am connecting using my Mac book pro. I have tried various frequencies and resolutions.
