I recently purchased a used HP 27eb monitor. It looks like the monitor has been configured to be set up on a monitor arm, using this adapter piece: Amazon.com: Monitor VESA Adapter Arm/Mount Compatible with HP Pavilion 22F 22ER 22ES 22EB 22EA - 23E.... Unfortunately, the plastic piece on the back of the monitor that needs to be removed in order to use this adapter is missing. In the User Guide (hp.com) for this product, this piece is referred to as the connector (page 5). The included monitor base no longer fits on the back of the monitor because this connector is missing. Is there any way I can replace this connector piece? I'd rather use the monitor with the stand rather than buy a monitor arm. Thank you for any information.

@NBost -- when I search the HP warehouse: HP PartSurfer (click this link!)
all I see is "computer" choices -- nothing for your display.
Maybe, you can do a different search, to see if you can find the missing component in their inventory?

Well I finally did find my specific product. The product number is X3W27AA, which brings up the option to buy a power cord or HDMI cord, that's it (HP PartSurfer). There's a list of Authorized HP Parts resellers that I'll have to try to contact next (HP Parts Store - HP Computer Parts - HP Printer Parts - Compaq Parts). This is quite the scavenger hunt.
