HP Envy 27

I am currently looking for a HP AIO solution coming with a 4K monitor that I can use also as second monitor for my work laptop. Factually I have decided for the HP Envy 27cp0700ng. Yet this one (like seemingly all recent HP Envy AIOs) does not seem to have HDMI-IN ports. 😞

As my work laptop runs in a company VPN and the HP AIO would obviously not, wireless connections like Miracast won't work AFAIK.

Questions:

- Is there a way to use Thunderbolt or DVI as video IN  instead of HDMI-IN?

- If not: Is there a SAFE and recent overview on which HP Envy/Pavillion/younameit 4K AIOs support HDMI-IN?

- Are there any other ideas how to bring use the HP AIO as second monitor?

Thank you very much!

hi

if the computer does not have the hdmi in, I fear that any attempt may not be successful..
we could try to find a model, but the best placed to answer you are the specialists of the hp shop..
they need to know what type of device should be suitable
try this option, contact the hp store in your country

[edit]

maybe in this series
