HP Recommended

I got a used ELITE 8200 USDT.

The computer do not have the additional ATI RADEON video card on MXM slot.
I'm able to use it only with a VGA display connected.

 

The question is:

Do the DIsplayPort works only if the additional MXM video card is installed? or should it work even with the processor -integrated video section?

The specs seem to indicate that you can use the DisplayPort for the onboard Intel graphics adapter.
