My user has a HP EliteDesk 800 G6 Mini desktop computer, and recently bought a HP E45c G5 DQHD monitor. This monitor shuts down video (black screen) if video is played on it. It is running the recommended resolution of 5120 x 1440. We have several other computers of the same model with Philips 49" monitors with the same resolution which runs without any problems. We have updated the BIOS and driver software, but it does not make any difference. We have also double checked the specs of the DP cable between the PC and the monitor, and replaced it too.
Any ideas?

It sounds like the issue might be related to the GPU or video output settings on the HP EliteDesk 800 G6 Mini. I think you make sure the computer’s graphics card can fully support the 5120 x 1440 resolution at the refresh rate of the HP E45c G5 monitor. You can also try lowering the refresh rate or resolution as a test. I remember trying to play a video on Freecine while downloading the app from an online site, with a similar high-resolution setup, and it struggled until I adjusted the refresh rate. Maybe a tweak in settings like that could help.
