HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 13-ay0044au

I have been using  HP ENVY x360 (about 12inch screen)WhatsApp Image 2022-12-21 at 7.14.47 PM.jpeg

normally and folded for about 2 years now, but today when I tried to fold it, the hinge on the left got stuck somehow and caused some cracks on almost half of the screen on the bottom. The glass is broken into shards(I taped it so they do not fall out) and some broken screws(I think) fell out too. The damage is for only around 2.5 inches at the bottom of the screen but touch does not work on the whole damaged side. I am thinking of repairing the hinge and replacing the touch screen with a non touch. How much would this cost and how can i minimize it.. since i am a student? And will it be okay if I keep using it ? or will this induce more damage? Please enlighten me.
