i also have the same issue. only at 4k resolution this is happening after 10 to 15 minutes of video playback or playing games. it also happens when i am connecting my ps4 pro. did u find a solution to this problem. please let me know whether this is a hdmi cable issue or the monitor itself

Hello, have the exact same problem. This time about three months after a replacement.

 

Now your customer service in Switzerland (or wherever the operator sits...) thinks it is a problem with my computer - because I have had the same problem before - whatever the reasoning...

 

He told me to buy a new Displayport Cable (the HP one was not a "premium cable" and not for 4k video.. I wonder why you ship it with the monitor then...).

 

I have tried it also with a usb-c to displayport adapter on a macbook pro but this did not convince him either. He wants me to buy a "premium displayport cable" and try it on yet another pc.

 

I have bought the 3 year extended warranty and now I have to troubleshoot it myself on three different pcs when the problem seems to be known? I have seen this problem on differen forums on the internet already but the hp clerk seems to try to discourage me from claiming the warranty again.
