How can I get the touchscreen numeric keypad to reappear so that I can log in with my PIN? It disappeared without warning. I tried to go into the device center but I didnt see any options for the keypad.

I think I got a similiar problem with my HP Spectre x360 13-4132ng, Windows 10 64-bit.
The login with touchscreen and PIN is possible but sometimes (often), when I click on the input box for the PIN on the login screen, the PIN-keyboard appears for a second but immediately disappears again. So I start the laptop and move my finger upwards on the touchscreen (so that the users are shown). Then, I am able to enter my PIN with the keyboard. But the problem is that it takes about 10 seconds (5 to 20) to get the on-screen keyboard appear. I tap on the input box with my finger, so that the on-screen keyboard (with numbers only) appears, but then, half a second later, the on-screen keyboard disappears again. After trying this several times (tapping the input box 3 to 10 times), the on-screen keyboard finally remains displayed.

Hi,
I am not quite sure what the solution would be.
In the end I am interested in the problem posted by stecrz. I got a brand new HP Spectre x360 with Win 10 1607 (all updates) and the onscreen numpad at PIN logon keeps disappearing (when I click the PIN entry field, the keypad pops in and immeadiately pops out again). This seems to be the case as long as Windows has not fully booted yet in background (because if you wait for some time at the logon screen and try again later, the numpad then stays onscreen).
Is there any solution to this? It is so annoying.
Thanks and best regards,
Borkar
