I purchased 2 Dell 4K monitors along with my HP Envy HP Desktop (Windows 11) recently and am unsure what is the best solution to get the second monitor to work.
The desktop has 1 HDMI output and 1 VGA output on the back as well as multiple USB ports and 1 USB-C port on the front. The monitors have 2 HDMI inputs and a display port.
I have tried both VGA to HDMI and USB-C to HDMI cables but the 2nd monitor cannot be detected.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

When I says NATIVE, I mean DIRECT connected VGA to VGA, no middle man conversion.

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06638240
It has following ports at its back
- (1) RJ-45 Ethernet port
- (1) HDMI 1.4b/HDCP 2.2 port
- (1) VGA port
- (3) Audio ports
- (4) USB 2.0 Type-A ports
- (1) Power input port
You should be able to connect 2 external monitors using NATIVE connections HDMI and VGA. The USB-C port at it front is hopeless when connecting to a monitor.
VGA port does not support 4K therefore you won't get much from that port.
Your machine has integrated Intel® UHD Graphics 630 which supports 4096×2304 pixels max therefore no way you can connect your machine to 2 4K monitors now.
Regards.

Sorry I made a mistake. I have 2 QHD monitors (Dell S3220dgf). 2560 x 1440 resolution. But still cannot get the monitor to connect.
Will they work or do I need to downgrade one of the monitors to a VGA only connection? Native means VGA to HDMI will not work?
