I recently bought HP M34d WQHD Monitor. It has integrated KVM Switch.

I tried to connect my two laptops to this monitor and the display is working as expected and I can switch the laptops with KVM Switch. The problem is with using the same mouse and keyboard for both laptops. Only one of the laptop is recognizing it but not the other. I am not sure what other setup I am missing.

Setup Details:

Mouse and Key Board are connected to USB of the monitor.

Laptop 1 is connected to monitor with USB-C (with USB-C to USB-C cable)

Laptop 2 is connected to monitor with DisplayPort(USB-C to DisplayPort)

Both Laptops are running with Windows OS

Mouse and keyboard are working when the monitor is switched to Laptop 1 but not working when switched to Laptop 2.

Please let me know if I am missing any setup here.

Please don't recommend me a standalone KVM as I am trying to work with the integrated KVM. That's the whole reason to buy this monitor in the first place.
