Oops. The settings reset again today to default values  after boot!  I have now turned off the Windows Color System triggers. Lets see whether this will prevent the display changes.

I hope that works for you. You may have to disable them again if you get a windows update.

Lost  display settings this morning even though the windows color system  triggers are still set to disable . There were no Windows update last night .  Any ideas?
