Hello,
I'm having the same issue as the topic starter, running a clean install of Win 10 Pro x64 1709, HP MyDisplay crashes just like it did on the previous versions of Windows. Seeing that the software hasn't been updated since March 2016 (version 2.21a), I believe that the developers might not be aware of the issue with newer OS versions. Could you assist please.

Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.
I read that you're running a clean install of Win 10 Pro x64 1709, HP MyDisplay crashes like it did on the previous versions of Windows.
I would like to know if you have tried the updated version of HP My Display. Here's the download link. Then click on "Click Here to accept the End User License Agreement and start the download."
