@DavidSMP,

I have a similar issue. In my case the monitor came with all the necessary parts and it currently works fine but the AC adapter is making a ticking/clicking noise when the monitor is turned off after long enough use. It continues until I unplug it. I suspect it's the voltage regulator but it could be something else. Either way I don't want to just sit on this and wait for it to break the adapter or worse the monitor. I'd rather get it replaced before the warranty expires. It's at the very least inconvenient as I sleep in the same room as the computer so I have to unplug the monitor everytime I want to sleep. Is replacing it at all possible?

Thanks.
