HP Pav Power 580-130
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a problem about the HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 for my HP Pav Power 580-130 . I would like to connect a secondary monitor and the computer doesn't detect anything. I tried another screen and the HDMI outputs just don't work.

i updated my graphics drivers and also checked the 'sound' section but the HDMI doesn't appear in that list too.

Finally i tried to detect the screen in the display settings and the problem persist.

Thank you for the additional information, @Tyfox.

Those HDMI ports are not connected to the motherboard.  They would normally be connected to the Integrated Graphics, but there is no Integrated Graphics in your computer.  Therefore, they are simply there for HP to use with other models.

Here are the Product Specifications for the computer.  Look at the section titled "Video graphics" to see what it has to say.  Also, read the Note: in the section titled "Back I/O ports.  The pertinent information is as follows: Any modifications or upgrades might change the configuration, port accessibility, and port functionality.

The adapter should work.

The issue is the computer doesn't recognize the port HDMI 1 and 2, it's look like they are inactive or something like that.

According to the specs here, there is 1-HDMI and 3-DisplayPort ports on the RX 580.

Yes you are correct, there are 3 Display ports and 1 hdmi on the rx580. But there are also 2 ports HDMI under them and they didn't seems to work properly.

I have ordered an adapter for the display port. I hope this will fix the problem.

Thank you!
