Hello,
I have HP pavilion 27QD monitor. It's worked great with WIN10, but today I bought new laptop with WIN 11 home and monitor shows only 1920x1080 8bit. It looks terrible. Contrast low quality, resolution I cannot up. In display section it shows my monitor, but it not working as was before in normal mode 2K.
What should I do?
Please help me

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the W10 driver for your monitor:
This package contains the HP Display Installer program, which automatically detects the Microsoft operating system that is running on your computer and installs the corresponding Microsoft certified monitor .INF and .ICM driver files that are used to help configure the HP Pavilion 27 Quantum Dot Display.

Hello,
I installed w10 driver but it didn't help. In display section I see the monitor HP 27 QD, it's visible.
I tried on duplicate mode, on laptop full hd on display very low quality. If laptop is closed, then quality a little bit increased on monitor. But it still not the same as was with win 10 or win 7.
I tried on extend and show1 and show2 display, but monitor not start working in normal mode 2K...
So this monitor cannot work with win 11 with full possibilities, it stays in some safe mode or else...

I solved it !
Now monitor works with max resolution and max 75hz.
I used before hdmi HP cable. So I decided to buy new usb c 3.1 gen 1 cable and now it shows on max 2560x1440, rate 75hz.
Buy the way, with HDMI cable and with win 7 and win 10 as I told before it worked with 2560x1440, but rate was only max 60hz.
So if someone have problems like this, buy new cable and test it 🙂
Good luck ! 🙂
