HP Pavilion Gaming 32 HDR
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

I wonder if someone can help me a little here with this strange issue I seem to have with my new HP monitor.

I've just purchased the HP Pavilion Gaming 32 HDR monitor, after setting it up and finally understanding what the various settings do which aren't very clearly outlined in the user guide there seems to be something odd happening when gaming with the monitor Image Control > Response Time set to Fastest (5).

Now my understanding here is that this should give me the fastest response time (5ms) when gaming and minimum input lag which does appear to be the case, so thats fine however, the issue is that when I'm for instance looking around whilst playing a first person game, if I look at the edge of an object for instance of the edge of a wall, if I look around with my mouse the colour from that object seems to leave a small smeared trail almost like a bleed around the outline of it which is quite visible at times, now if I drop the monitor down in response time to the next slowest setting (4) this issue goes away but surely this shouldn't be the case should it..?

My question is, is this normal or do I have a defective panel, surely this monitor is made to work at the fastest response time without this occuring..any ideas anyone..?

Many Thanks.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

This link contains the HP Display Installer program, which automatically detects the Microsoft operating system that is running on your computer and installs the corresponding Microsoft certified monitor.INF and.ICM driver files that are used to help configure the HP Pavilion Gaming 32 HDR Display.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi there, thank you for your reply, I have already installed the corresponding display driver for the operating system I am using and also set the monitor to use the correct colour profile however the issue I have mentioned is still present.

Thanks.

I will spare you the details of incorrect sn numbers during registering, but my 32H also known as product 3bz12aa  and as HP Pavilion Gaming 32 HDR shows me UG and quick start, but no HP Hardware Maintenance and Service Guide. SOmetimes the experts in this Community can find that for e, any chance this can be found for this model product? Thank you!
