HP Slim Desktop PC S01-pF2000i (4M0H6AV)

The kid in the shop said it could but now I've got it home the 2nd monitor isn't working. It's got 8 USB ports, are any of them capable of display port output via HDMI converter or do I have to return this thing? The model is HP Slim Desktop PC S01-pF2000i (4M0H6AV)

@stephen177, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

To determine whether the HP Slim Desktop PC S01-pF2000i (4M0H6AV) can support running two monitors, it is important to look at its available input and output ports. Generally, multiple monitors require separate display output ports such as HDMI, DP (DisplayPort), or VGA.

The general specifications for similar HP Slim Desktop models include:

  • Rear I/O ports typically feature HDMI and VGA output ports.

If your specific model (HP Slim Desktop PC S01-pF2000i) includes both HDMI and VGA ports, then it should be capable of supporting two monitors, provided you have monitors that are compatible with these connections.

Note: Not all USB ports support external displays. Make sure to use a USB Type-C port that supports Thunderbolt™ for video output.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
