My Spectre x360 (2020) comes with an HP Tilt pen. This works to write notes but the tilt functionality doesn't seem to do anything. I've tried Autodesk sketchbook. What software should this work with? I've seen the note that it is no longer supported by MS WhiteBoard or Full Screen Snip.

Hi Praveen
Thanks for your reply.
I've been able to set up a blue tooth connection to the pen and can use it as a stylus without the 'tilt' functionality. The eraser functionality works.
Having spoken to your technical support team I have learnt that:
a. using software shipped with the laptop, the tilt function of the pen can only be used with the highlighter pen in MS OneNote or the Snip and Sketch software. I can't perceive any difference when tilting the pen using the highlighter.
b. the technical team is unable to advise on which sketch software does support tilt stylus functionality on the HP Spectre x360 (2020) (running Windows 10). I've tried apps such as Autodesk Sketchbook, which say they support tilt styluses, and these don't work.
For those looking to buy a table/2 in 1 for sketching, I would strongly advise against the HP spectre. It just isn't readily possible to use the shading functionality advertised as part of the tilt stylus. There may be some premium rate software that would work but who would speculatively purchase software in the hope it is going to work? I'm disappointed with the Spectre and this functionality; this is supposed to be a premium product. I would expect it to deliver against all it's advertised functionality. I'd be interested to know whether sites such as Techradar, who rate the laptop highly, actually tested this functionality.
