HP w2338h 23-inch LCD Monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have the HP w2338h 23-inch LCD Monitor and am attempting to upgrade to Win 10 but it will not let me due to monitor not compatible.  I've gone to support page and when I change opp sys to win 10 no drivers are found.  Please advise.

As I said, it is unlikely to be the monitor as those do not use drivers.

So basically, the upgrade tool is objecting to the video chipset in your custom PC, not to the monitor.

We can't help you with that, as it is not an HP PC.

It's unlikely that's the real problem, as monitors generally do not need or use drivers.

We need the detail product number of your PC.  There should be a sticker with this information on the case.

It will look something like this: HPSticker

The product number we need it item#3.

Also, I see you're running Win10. Did the PC come preinstalled with Win10? Or, did you upgrade it from a prior OS to Win10?

If you did the upgrade, how long ago was that, and what was the prior OS?

We can proceed once you provide the information.

Thanks

This is a custom built PC and the windows upgrade program will not get past the compatibility test.
