HP x27i Gaming monitor

Hello,

The HP x27i is originally a PC gaming monitor that supports 1440p up to 144HZ input over Displayport as well as HDMI. As the Xbox Series X has HDMI output capability of up to 4k@120HZ  over HDMI, the x27i should be able to display a 1440p@120Hz  signal from the Xbox Series X. Unfortunately this is not the case as the Xbox says 120Hz is not supported by the x27i monitor.

I have contacted Microsoft's Xbox support and they have told me this is likely because the firmware of the x27i monitor has not been updated yet for the capabilities of the Xbox Series X.

I wanted to post this to see if I could reach someone at HP with the relevant contacts to make a firmware update possible to enable 1440p@120Hz on the Xbox Series X.

Thanks
