Hi,
I have the Z24m monitor. This monitor has a built-in camera for video conferencing, and according to the manual can be connected to the desktop via USB-C, or DisplayPort plus USB-C. The USB-C is necessary for the camera to function. I have only been able to use the monitor with both the DIsplayPort and USB-C cables connected.
I have updated drivers and firmware. I have selected "Performance" under the Power tab in the monitor's settings in order to enable USB-C video, and I have selected USB-C as the Input Source in the HP Display Center app.
In spite of all that (I think I have all the correct settings,) I am unable the use the monitor and its camera without both the DisplayPort and USB-C connections. This seems unnecessary, and I would really like to only use the USB-C cable. Do you have any sugestions for me to try?
Thanks
