Product: iMac Retina 5k, 2019, 27"
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina
I use an HP27f as an extended monitor for both my 5k iMac and my work HP laptop.
For the iMac I connect using an HDMI cable with a Thunderbolt-to-HDMI adapter, and set the refresh rate to 60Hz. This works well most of the time, but 1-in-3 times I wake up my Mac there are refresh rate syncing issues, and I need to reset the refresh rate in the Settings Displays control panel to get it to work properly. My iMac is running MacOS Big Sur 11.6, but had the same issue with previous revisions of MacOS.
Any suggestions on what this might be and how I can fix it?
Thanks in advance!! 😁
