Horizontal Colorful Lines on Webcam (HP Pavillion)

Lately, I have been having issues with my laptop's webcam, in which all my camera displays are colorful horizontal lines. I have had this issue before, but it would come and go (seemingly randomly). Lately, though, it has been extremely persistent, and I cannot figure out how to resolve it. I have attached a screenshot of what my camera displays so that you all can get a better idea of what I am working with. I have seen posts about this before, but have yet to find any real solution. Please let me know if anyone has found a solution to this issue!

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer. 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
