@Shahin14, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Screen Flickering!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Check for Updates: Ensure your laptop's operating system and drivers, especially the graphics driver, are up to date. You can use the Windows Update feature or HP Support Assistant to check for any available updates.

Adjust Display Settings:

  • Right-click on your desktop and select "Display settings."
  • Check if reducing the refresh rate solves the issue. Navigate to "Advanced display settings" and try selecting a different refresh rate.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the laptop and disconnect all external devices.
  • Unplug the power adapter and remove the battery (if removable).
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the battery and power adapter, and then turn on the laptop.

Check for Physical Damage: Inspect the screen for any visible signs of damage. If the flickering started after a drop or impact, it might indicate hardware damage.

Run Diagnostics: Use the BIOS diagnostics feature to check for hardware issues. Restart your laptop and press the "Esc" key repeatedly until the startup menu appears. Then press "F2" for System Diagnostics and run a display test.

System Restore: If the issue started recently, you can try restoring the system to a previous restore point.

External Monitor Test: Connect your laptop to an external monitor. If the external display works fine, it might indicate a problem with the laptop's screen itself.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
