Can you add some technical details:

* model-number of your computer

* operating system (Windows 7? 8? 10? 11?)

* is the computer less than one year old (the HP Warranty will do the repairs, at HP's expense)

* the date that you purchased the computer

* has the web-camera ever worked 

 

to get good technical advice.
