Hi @Garrett25, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The HP Pavilion 27xi does not have a standard VESA mount on the back, meaning you can’t directly attach a monitor arm or stand without an adapter.
Since this monitor lacks VESA mounting holes, you have two main options:
1. Use a VESA Adapter Bracket
- Some third-party VESA adapter brackets clamp onto the edges or back of the monitor and provide a standard 75x75mm or 100x100mm VESA mount.
- These are commonly sold on Amazon, eBay, or specialty monitor accessory stores.
- Look for ones labeled as compatible with HP Pavilion 27xi or similar non-VESA HP monitors.
✅ Pros:
- Allows you to mount on a monitor arm without modifying the monitor.
❌ Cons:
- May block ports or buttons depending on design.
- Some brackets may not be very sturdy, so check reviews.
2. Use a VESA Mount Adapter Kit (Glue or Strap-On Type)
- Some adapters use adhesive plates or strap systems to attach a VESA-compatible plate to the back of the monitor.
- These provide 100x100mm or 75x75mm mounting holes.
✅ Pros:
- No need for screws or modifications.
- Works on monitors without standard mounting holes.
❌ Cons:
- Not as secure as a proper VESA mount.
- Some adhesives may not hold up over time.
If the Amazon bracket you found clamps onto the monitor and provides a VESA plate, it should work. Just check compatibility in the product description to ensure it fits the HP Pavilion 27xi.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
