Can someone tell me how to increase the screen resolution to 2560 x 1080? I have an LG 34 inch monitor which needs to be in that resolution to be able to display 2 windows properly at once.
When I go into the computer settings the maximum resolution it is showing is 1920 x 1080.
The monitor is conntected to the computer by HDMI in the monitor to Displayport.
I have tried to install drivers for both the monitor and the desktop however still not having any success.
thank you
Brett

@brettepi, welcome to the forum.
What is the full model of the LG monitor? I want to review the specs. Since this is a HP Forum we don't have the specs for the monitor. Also, which is your computer: Microtower, Desktop mini or Small Form Factor?

You are welcome, @brettepi. Thank you for the additional information.
I have reviewed the specs for both the computer and the monitor. They are capable of the 2560 x 1080. However, I believe that your problem could be caused by the fact you are using HDMI (ver. 1.4) to DP. I suggest that you contact LG's Tech Support for help. They are the experts on their monitors and should be able to solve your problem.
