Hi @Orca16598,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To lock the height adjustment on the HP Series 5 27-inch FHD Height Adjust Monitor (S27FH).

Locate the Height Adjustment Mechanism:

  • On the stand of the monitor, there is typically a lock or lever near the central axis where the stand slides up and down.

Find the Lock Mechanism:

  • Look for a small sliding lock or toggle switch on the vertical arm of the monitor stand. This mechanism prevents the height from changing.

Engage the Lock:

  • If the monitor has a physical lock, slide it to the locked position. You may need to adjust the height to its desired position first.

Check the Manual:

  • If you're unsure, consult the monitor’s user manual. HP often includes specific instructions for each model.

If the monitor does not have a specific lock mechanism but still moves freely, try ensuring it is in a stable position and avoid pressing on the monitor from above or below, as the height may be adjusted by pressure.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
