How to put monitor 1CA86AA in sleep mode

I just got a new Monitor 1CA86AA for my computer but can't find any information as to whether I can put this one into sleep mode when I put my computer on SLEEP.  I've tried everything so I'm wondering if you can't do that with this HP monitor.

I'd appreciate any help anyone can give.

Here is the User Guide for the monitor.  In Chapter 2, Page 13, Using Auto-Sleep Mode, it gives instructions how to put the monitor into Auto-Sleep Mode.
