Sorry @atticcuss I'm back
Can you explain your problem more precisely
your computer, does not have a graphics card, it is built into the motherboard, so if you have a problem, installing a graphics card may not change this

HP Slimline Desktop PC - brand new in November 2020
A lightning bold hit my yard in June 2021 and killed my TV, Monitor, and a few other things. The blue screen appeared sometime after that.
The display screen is blue, not the error blue. It seems the video pallet is bad which came from a diagnostic test.
The motherboard holds the graphics and I don't know if it is removable yet, but I will see.
So, thank you all for going through this with me. It has been a challenge. I hope I can get this fixed. Lower income does not allow me to have it serviced. It is only a year old.
Here's hoping.

OK sorry
if you start the computer, and try to open the bios, the problem is present?
- (1) HDMI 1.4b/HDCP 2.2 port
- (1) VGA port
You should have several video connectors, have you tried?

I purchased a new monitor after a lightning bolt killed my old one. This new HP monitor had a cable with the new long connector for the PC and unfortunately mine did not have one. I had to purchase a vga to vga cable to be able to connect it.
I hope that is not the issue. The blue color appear on the new one as well. Is it possible that when the lightning bolt hit the ground it may have done something to the PC. Everything else works just fine. The tiny diagnostic I was able to run indicated that the video pallet was bad. Since you have stated that the grapics is built into the motherboard, I am at loss to figure this out.
Should I replace the motherboard, or ....... ?
Is there another diagnostic out there that I am not aware of to run?
Thank you all so much for your help with this. I look forward to your response.
